Objective: Illustrate one portrait: one good or one evil fictional character. Choose a character from your favorite movie, television show, or book.

Response: I chose to illustrate Regina George (Rachel McAdams from Mean Girls (2004). I felt as though Regina portrayed a fun and unique “villain” that many of us hold near-and-dear to our hearts. For her skin tone, I chose to primarily utilize the bristle brush tool to give the illustration a smooth, oil-painting-like aesthetic. I also relied on gradient meshes and a great deal of constructed paths.
